This is a wonderful, educational, accessible and dynamic opportunity for people of all ages and walks of life. Here are some examples of actions:
- Pick up one piece of trash each day in April...
- Borrow from the “Library of Things” - avoid buying more stuff...
- Explore something new in the area - foster connection to what is unique about Medfield...
- Watch a movie together on an earth-related theme of your choosing...
- Ditch fast fashion - swap with neighbors and shop second hand...
- Ride your bike or walk - nix short drives and get fresh air...
- Skip plastic - BYO bags/coffee mugs/water bottles to refill when out and about...
These are just starting points and if you are looking for actions with more heft they are there too! Perhaps save a rainforest, clean up an ocean, or reverse global warming. Once signed up, choose from an array of earth-minded options, ranging in effort and output. Select the actions that feel manageable, meaningful, and motivating.
